About EditMyDocument

EditMyDocument.com is a set of 27 free tools for the documents everyone has to deal with: leases, job applications, school forms, receipts, spreadsheets and résumés.

Why it exists

Signing one form shouldn’t mean finding a printer, buying software, or uploading your pay stub to a stranger’s server. EditMyDocument does the job in your browser, on your phone or computer, and gets out of the way.

How it works

When you open a file, it’s read by code running in your browser tab, built on well-tested open-source projects (listed on the licenses page). Your edits, signatures, passwords and recognized text stay on your device and the finished file is saved straight back to it. After your first visit the main tools even work offline.

How it’s paid for

Guides and other informational pages show Google AdSense ads. That keeps the tools free with no daily limits; editor pages do not load ad scripts. An account is optional: it keeps your saved signatures and settings in sync across devices, and never touches your documents.
