About this tool

Many official forms (tax, school, rental and job applications) are fillable PDFs with built-in fields. EditMyDocument finds those fields and shows them as blue boxes you can type straight into. When you save, your answers are flattened into the page so they display the same in every PDF viewer and can’t be changed by accident.

If a form has no fields, it’s a flat PDF. Use Add text to type anywhere on the page, and Sign to add a signature.

Questions

Why don’t I see blue boxes?

The form doesn’t have built-in fields. Use Add text and tap where each answer goes.

Can I edit the answers after saving?

The saved copy has the answers fixed in place. Keep the editor open to make changes, or fill the original again.

Does it work with XFA forms?

Some government forms use an older XFA format that only Adobe Reader can fill. If yours shows a "please wait" message instead of the form, use Adobe Reader for that one.
