About this tool
Photos of paper usually come out grey, shadowy and huge. Document mode evens out the lighting, whitens the background and sharpens the text, and the result is a fraction of the size. Black and white makes the smallest files; Original color is best for IDs and colored forms.
Lay the page on a dark, flat surface in good light and hold the phone straight above it. Run OCR afterwards to make the scan searchable.

Do I need to install an app?
No. Scan to PDF works in your phone’s browser.
Can I add pages later?
Yes. Tap Add files in the editor to take or add more photos.
